Despite the critics, Giroud netted a very decent 24 goals in 54 games for Arsenal in 2015/16, while he now also finds himself in good scoring form for France. A good Euro 2016 could well see the striker push on next season with the Gunners, with Vardy’s apparently imminent arrival giving Arsene Wenger a tasty set of options in attack.
