Despite impressing at various youth levels for England, Lagos-born Alex Iwobi ultimately chose to represent for the country of his birth.
This weekend, the 20-year-old was in action for Nigeria in their World Cup qualifying clash with Algeria, with the young Gunner executing a wonderful piece of skill reminiscent of his uncle Jay-Jay Okocha.
Picking up the ball on the right flank, Iwobi bamboozled his Algerian opponent with a very cheeky rainbow flick…

Not bad, eh!
Iwobi and his Super Eagle team-mates went on to win the clash in Uyo by a 3-1 scoreline, with Chelsea duo Jon Obi Mikel and Victor Moses (with a brace) getting the goals.
As for Algeria, ex-Spurs midfielder Nabil Bentaleb did bag this cracking consolation goal for the Fennecs…
With the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa joining the likes of Iwobi, Mikel and Moses, Nigeria are starting to build quite a decent side once again.
