Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marked his Arsenal debut with a goal on Saturday, as the Gunners thrashed Everton 5-1 at the Emirates.

The £56m record signing started alongside ex-Dortmund teammate Henrik Mkhitaryan and the two players enjoyed a fine afternoon in north London.

However, Aaron Ramsey was the star of show, with the Welshman netting a hat-trick.

Ramsey netted the opener after just six minutes, netting from close-range via a Mkhitaryan assist.

Just eight minutes later, the hosts doubled their advantage, with Laurent Koscielny nodding home after a corner.

A rampant Gunners then made it 3-0 on 19 minutes, with Ramsey scoring again, this time courtesy of a deflected effort.

Then, before the break, Aubameyang produced a superb chipped finish over Jordan Pickford from another Mkhitaryan assist.

However, the Gabonese striker was a yard offside and lucky not to see the goal chalked off.

At the break, Sam Allardyce switched from a back three to a four-man defence and the Toffees improved, with Oumar Niasse hitting the woodwork.

Everton would eventually get one back, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin heading in from a Cuco Martina centre.

The Gunners would bag one more goal on 74 minutes, with Ramsey scoring after yet another assist from the superb Mkhitaryan.

The game would end in an impressive 5-1 win for Arsene Wenger’s side, with the new-signings looking to be settling nicely already.

Although an injury to Petr Cech, which forced him off in the second-period, is a concern.

As for the Toffees, they’ll be thoroughly disappointed by a dismal display, with loan signing Eliaquim Mangala shaky at the back and ex-Gunner Theo Walcott failing to make an impact.
