This lovely goal, scored in a pre-season friendly against SC Weiz of Austria in July 2005, is all about TH’s great first touch; the second and third touches are even better. When I see a video like this, it makes me realise that I genuinely miss Henry. English football is a slightly worse place without him. And I say that as a Spurs fan.
Nice pass from the Big Swiss lad too, although Weiz’s defence could have been a lot closer to Henry when he received the pass-cum-hoof.
