In their last home game of the season, Southampton gave their fans a fine farewell gift, courtesy of a 6-1 drubbing of Aston Villa.
Central to that result was an incredible hat-trick from Sadio Mané which clocked in at just two minutes and fifty-six seconds, smashing Robbie Fowler’s 21-year record (4:33) to make it the quickest hat-trick in Premier League history…
The Senegalese star has been superb for Ronald Koeman’s side this season and was the cherry on top of a fantastic performance by the Saints. Although, Aston Villa’s defending was utterly dismal.
