With the Bundesliga fixture list for 2014/15 released today, German football magazine 11 Freunde have re-imagined the timetable as a music festival poster…

Coooool.

+1 for using The Scorpions’ font, we appreciate that. “Rock You Like A Hurricane” is a t-ch-oon!

Obviously, as the fixtures themselves are entirely illegible, allow us to provide you with an entirely more useful text copy as well.

    Trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out all the bands. I’m told Frieberg’s logo is a reference to a German 90s grunge band called Tocotronic.

      Okay, I’ll bite.

      So far I’ve got…

      Bayern = The Beatles
      BVB = Run DMC
      Schalke = Slayer
      Wolfsburg = Motorhead
      Eintracht Frankfurt = Die Toten Hosen
      Hertha Berlin = ?
      Hannover = Scorpions
      Werder Bremen = Wu Tang
      Bayer Leverkusen = Chemical Brothers
      TSG Hoffenheim = Public Enemy
      Augsberg = AD/DC
      Koln = ?
      VfB Stuttgart = ?
      Mainz = Know I’ve seen that logo before somewhere, but ?
      Paderborn = The Who
      Hamburger = Aerosmith?
      Borussia Monchengladbach = Linkin Park
      Freiburg = ?

  2. hillo says:

  3. Fabian says:

    Hertha = Rammstein
    Freiburg, as sirreg stated, is tocotronic
    Köln seems like “de höhner” even though i cannot find that exact logo. But the band is a regional band from Cologne, being somewhat famous.

  4. smrc says:

    Hertha – Rammstein
    Mainz – Tokio Hotel

  5. Jonpe says:

    Hertha BSC = Rammstein
    Mainz = Tokio Hotel

  6. James says:

    Hertha Berlin = Rammstein

    Mainz is driving me mad, though!

  7. Fabian says:

    It is said that Mainz is supposed to be Tokio Hotel. Couldnt find their logo though. Same thing with Stuttgart, apparently it is supposed to be Pur.

  8. John C says:

    I reckon the Mainz one could be the Jurassic 5 logo.

  9. Evan says:

    I second Jurassic 5.

  10. bof says:

    Nope. Mainz is Tokio Hotel. Try and search for “Tokio Hotel Logo”. You’ll certainly find it.

  11. Jarren says:

    Awesome! I got here too late to name them all :P

  12. TravisKOP says:
