In which, before Napoli’s win over Chelsea last night, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Walter Gargano are on the receiving end of a big ol’ smooch from one of the Napoli mascots – good-luck kisses that leave them utterly bemused for a few seconds…

While here in England we are seeing a sharp rise in mascot-on-mascot passive aggression, it appears that over in Italy the little tykes are loved up to the nines.

Lol….quality……So much passion in Naples. Once you play for Napoli you are part of ”the family”. Love it.

Great line about the passive-aggressive mascots in England, lol…Indicative of the pointless anger in kids in England these days, haha.

Trust me Neopolitans kiss everyone! Even the most macho ones. The comorra looking owner of my hostel there gave everyone a goodbye smacker other than me, the awkward Englishman.

Worked, dinnit? Lavezzi scored 2 two goals in the win.

  4. Del says:

Aww, that was adorable. Judging by Lavezzi and Gargano reactions I’d say they were pleasantly surprised. ^^

That very well may have made my day. Chris’ commentary on every single story always makes it just that little bit better.
