Turkish giants Besiktas endured a horror evening away to Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night, going down 6-0 and picking up two red cards.
The first-half saw Andreas Beck sent off on 29 minutes for conceding a penalty, with the visitors shipping four goals in a nightmare 45 minutes which had a shell-shocked goalkeeper Fabricio unable to hold back the tears.
The first-half goals came via Artem Besedin, Andriy Yarmolenko (via the spot-kick awarded after Beck’s foul), Vitaliy Buyalskiy and then, in stoppage time before the break, Derlis González.
And it was that fourth goal which upset 31-year-old Fabricio, with the Spaniard weeping with misery…
Who says footballers don’t care!!! The poor sod.
Things would get even worse for the Turks after the break, with Serhiy Sydorchuk and Moraes making it 6-0 for Kiev after Vincent Aboubakar picked up Besiktas’ second red of the evening.
The result saw Besiktas miss out on a place in the last 16, finishing third, which maybe explains Fabrizio’s waterworks. Kiev, despite the thumping win, finish bottom of the group
