Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic took a novel approach to defending against Barcelona’s fiendish set-piece array by quite literally lying down on the job.

As Luis Suarez prepared to send a daisy-cutter under the wall, the Croatian had already actioned his plan to temporarily transform himself into a human draught excluder…

Alas, Brozovic’s heroics only prevented the inevitable for a short while as a Lionel Messi-less Barca went on to record a fairly comfortable 2-0 win at the Camp Nou.

Still, you can’t fault the effort.

    The man has firmly cemented himself as an Inter legend. For a split second, he was even striking a pose (eerily similar to his “epic brozo” celebration) on the ground as the ball hit him.
