We know you’re just about pig sick of these things, but Taiwanese news outlet NMA’s animated take on John Terry’s latest is notable for just how disgusting it is. It features vacuum-based abortions, pickled foetuses, crude ‘when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much’ stuff and some Nazi goose-stepping thrown in for good measure…

Subtlety is certainly not NMA’s strong suit.

As “disgusting” as the report may appear, it’s merely stating what is already in the public domain, albeit with a bit of exaggeration. In fact, it is infinitely less disgusting than Terry’s behaviour over the last few years, both on and off the pitch.

Plus, I do like how NMA clearly don’t give two tosses about who they target.

That’s all very well, but what do Juan Mata and Armand Traoré have to do with it?

  3. Zam says:

    How awful. It’s almost untrue.

I kind of like it, for the reasons that Si suggests — it’s not even a parody, it’s really just a mish-mash of all of the stories that the British tabloids dig up and so gleefully report, and that readers happily devour. This is to say that it’s no more disgusting than what is already out there. I have nothing to say about Terry’s behaviour as such. Most footballers are overgrown, spoiled children — what he has done may be punishable, but his behaviour doesn’t seem so far from the norm does it?

This is all that happens in the UK.

The media and tabloids overexagerate every story, then every self-righteous voyeur sits back and complains about how ‘disgusting’ this all is.

    I loved it
