As the FIFA 15 pre-release hype continues to gather apace, here’s the latest EA Sports teaser viral which sees the game’s UK cover star Eden Hazard press-ganged into demonstrating the new raft of skill and flair moves available, including some nice little Zidane-esque roulettes and a Zlatan-esque hamstring-twanger of a flying backheel volley…

Meh. While it certainly looks nice and shiny and Zlatan volley’s are always a bonus, but this is exactly why Pies can’t get into FIFA – it’s just a bit too flashy and chintzy for our liking.

Shame PES is such a dog these days, really.

They focus too much on new skills and stupid celebrations instead of the actual gameplay. PES was always better for gameplay, but last few years that’s got pretty awful too

I have FIFA 14 on the PS3 and recently I have found little bugs creeping into it…

    • The commentary will be totally off (free kick awarded, commentator says corner)

    • The controls do not respond (I pass a through ball but when I click to switch player it stays with my current player)

    • It seems to rain in almost every game (no matter what time of year it is / where the game is held)

    • My top players get mysterious month-long injuries (I keep the squad fit & rotate to avoid fatigue)

    • The game sometimes crashes even before loading…

That’s what I remember off the top of my head. There’s more glitches. All these started happening a few months ago.

Is this normal? Do video games get old and broken over time, like physical items?

Oh well, looks like I’ll have to go out and buy FIFA 15 now…
