You have to admire the cheek of this little manoeuvre by David Luiz during PSG’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Tuesday night.

Not happy with the positioning of the referee’s vanishing spray before a Zlatan Ibrahimovic free-kick, the bouffant-Brazilian decided to pick up most of the spray and move it to an apparently more convenient spot. Not sure what all this actually achieved but you have to hand it to the former Chelsea loon!

love how he points at it!

  2. Jarren says:

Can you imagine the Mourihno shitfest if Zlatan scored from that!

Anyway, nice to see Luiz is still as mental as ever.

  3. Maria says:

He’s cheating. You are lauding him for being a cheat. When I saw that last night I thought is was abhorrent. The whole point of the vanishing spray is to prevent players moving the ball or edging the wall closer.

  4. Nuno says:

Maria, he didn’t move the ball closer. He just moved it a bit sideways, possibly the turf wasn’t as good where the spray was. Also thought he could get into a bit fuss for this, but this ain’t cheat.

  5. What4 says:

He made the angle easier by moving it, therefore he was cheating. What else would you expect from an ex-Chel$ea player? Even if no advantage was gained, a player can’t change a ref’s decision. He should be retrospectively punished.

  6. Jorge says:

I think we should kill him.

  7. Adam says:

    That escalated quickly.
