Hull City 2-3 Chelsea – Premier League – 23rd March 2015

A Loic Remy winner saw Chelsea go six points clear of Manchester City on Sunday, after a goal-fest at the KC Stadium.

The league leaders looked to be cruising to another veasy victory, with goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa putting the Blues 2-0 up within the opening nine minutes. However, two goals in 74 seconds put the Tigers right back in the game. On 26 minutes, Ahmed Elmohamady fired home before Abel Hernandez made the most of a Thibaut Courtois error to level the scores.

In the second period, the hosts continued to impress, with Courtois making a number of superb saves. However, on 77 minutes, sub Loic Remy won the game for the Blues, converting a Willian centre.

Despite the shaky display, Jose Mourinho’s men keep themselves well in the driving seat at the top of the table while Steve Bruce, whose Hull side are just three points clear of danger, will be disappointed not to have come away with something from the game.
