As he has done for the past few years, John Terry has taken to Instagram to share his voting slip for this year’s PFA Player and Team of the Year awards.

Unsurprisingly, Leicester City feature heavily in Terry’s selections, with the Chelsea stalwart picking Riyad Mahrez as his player of the season.

Tottenham marksman Harry Kane, the Premier League’s top scorer, is given the nod as PFA Young Player of the Season.

As for Terry’s team of the season, the XI is postively riddled with Leicester players, with Kasper Schmeichel, Robert Huth, Wes Morgan, Danny Drinkwater, N’Golo Kante and Jamie Vardy all joining the ubiquitous Mahrez in the running…

To be perfectly honest, that doesn’t look massively different to Pies’ top-of-the-head selection, with Nacho Monreal perhaps pushing Ryan Bertrand for the left-back spot.

What sayeth thou, good people?

  1. Pete says:

How can you not have Ozil in midfield? Drinkwater over him? Terrible

  2. Jarren says:

As much as Schmeichel (nice “save” of yourself John with that I into an E) has been outstanding, how can’t de Gea be keeper of the season?

Without him we’d be at least 4 places lower!

Of course, I think most United fans would welcome Kasper to Old Trafford next season. It would just be right.

  3. Stephen says:

Smalling at right back? I’m fairly certain he hasn’t played there for even a minute this whole season. Ludicrous!

  4. Bryan says:

Would probably put Bellerin at RB but otherwise it’s hard to argue with that list much.
