Chelsea booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

Back in the starting line-up, Alvaro Morata gave the Blues the lead just before the break, netting his first goal for the club since December after good work from Willian.

However, Jamie Vardy, already guilty of a bad miss, leveled the scores for the hosts on 76 minutes, firing home from close-range after a goalmouth scramble.

The Foxes looked for a winner but the game would ultimately need extra-time.

N’Golo Kanté was superb throughout and it was the Frenchman who would set up the winner just before the end of the first period of extra-time, with the midfielder crossing for Pedro who headed past a flapping Kasper Schmeichel.

The victory sees the Blues bounce back from their Champions League defeat to Barcelona, with the FA Cup their last remaining hope of silverware this season.

As for Claude Puel and Leicester, they’ll feel frustrated after an overall decent display in front of their home fans.
