Blue Barf: Chelsea Unveil New 2019/20 Home Kit And It’s An Absolute Rotter (Photos)

Chelsea have unveiled their new home kit for the 2019/20 season and, with all the will in the world, it’s a bit of a mess.

The blue shirt features an angular motif all over it that is, as Nike assure us, constructed of various abstract images of the Stamford Bridge architecture which have been jumbled up and stitched back together.

The same pattern can be found on bus seats the length and breadth of the land.

It’s difficult to look at these photos of Eden Hazard on modelling duty and not read into that facial expression – the ‘I’m definitely joining Real Madrid now’ look.

On the one hand, it’s refreshing to see a kit design that isn’t just solid block colour and/or some sort of retro knock-off.

On the other hand, it does look a bit ‘1992’ and, even though it is something a little different, we can’t imagine we’re ever going to start warming to it.

What’s the verdict, Pies fans? Yay or nay?
