Fwank Lampard has pledged to spend the rest of his playing career at Chelsea. (In other words, no other big club is interested in him, so he’s played the loyalty card – one of the oldest tricks in the book.) So there will be no dream move to Barcelona for Lamps and his Spanish missus Elen Rives.
Lampard, who turns 30 this year, has 18 months to run on his contract but he told the Evening Standard: ‘I want to stay at this club for the rest of my career… I do not think I would receive the love I get from the Chelsea fans anywhere else. I would love another six or seven years of it.’
Maybe Fwank should stop receiving the love and start giving it too?
