Robert Snodgrass has been one of the rare shining lights in Hull’s disappointing Premier League campaign, with the midfielder chipping in with more than his fair share of goals and assists for the struggling Tigers.

On Friday night, the Scottish international was at it again, netting a superb free-kick in an entertaining 2-2 draw with Everton at the KCOM Stadium.

Hull got off to the perfect start with captain Michael Dawson firing home after just six minutes.

However, just before the break, Everton went level after David Marshall punched into his own net while under pressure from a team-mate.

Then, just after the hour-mark, Snodgrass stepped up to arrow home a superb free-kick, meaning the midfielder has either scored or assisted half of Hull’s league goals this season…

Alas, Mike Phelan’s strugglers failed to keep their lead for the second time in the game, with Ross Barkley heading in a late equaliser for the Toffees.

There could have been even more goals in the game, with both sides hitting the frame of the goal. However, in the end it would end all-square, a result which moves Hull (at least temporarily) off the bottom of the table.

Ronald Koeman’s Everton, on the other hand, stay seventh.
