A late penalty drilled home by Padraig Amond was enough to see Newport County of League Two eliminate 2015/16 Premier League champions Leicester City in the third round of the FA Cup this weekend.
As you might imagine, the subsequent celebrations at Rodney Parade were decidedly fervent, with Gary Lineker bearing the brunt from the giddy Newport fans afterwards.
Inside the changing room, the scenes were similarly joyous. Indeed, in lieu of champagne, the BBC cameras were on hand to see water bottles being shaken and then ‘fizzed’ all over the place.
However, what the Welsh side saved on grand cru, they appeared to blow on marinaded chicken, with the players dancing eagerly around a prodigious Nando’s order that lay waiting for them on the table…

That’s a lot of peri-peri. An awful lot.
Pies’ thoughts are with Newport’s fitness coach, who must be panicking at the very thought of another win in the fourth round.
