returned to training with Manchester United on Monday, but it still looks likely that he’ll start the season playing for either Real Madrid, who’ve made an improved, £10.3m bid for the Dutch thoroughbred, or Bayern Munich, who are still understandably keen on pairing RVN with new signing Lukas Podolski.

The Man Utd transfer crisis continues… is the self-styled ‘biggest club in the world’ losing its lustre? continued…

to leave Old Trafford, while the club are also in serious danger of
making NO major signings in the summer, despite their best efforts to
sign Michael Carrick and, reportedly, the World Cup-winning pair of
Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattuso.

All of which begs the question, has Man Utd lost its pulling power?
It’s clear from the summer’s comings and goings that Old Trafford isn’t
the dream destination it once was. But why? They’re still a huge club

most players would love to go there.
