Dundee United obviously boast a famous celebrity fan
Dundee have released two of their youth players for the heinous crime of going along to watch rivals Dundee United play in the Scottish League Cup Final.
Liam Fitzsimons and Josh Mackenzie, both 16, made the trip to Hampden Park together to watch Dundee United get spanked 4-0 by Celtic on Sunday afternoon, only to return to Dundee to find they’d been excommunicated for their treachery.
Fitzsimons took to Twitter yesterday to share the news…
Gutted that I won’t be with the boys anymore but getting released for going to a cup final? Some club Dundee Fc are. But anyway FTD

FTD, we’re led to believe, stands for “F**k the ‘Dee”.
Mackenzie also Tweeted his dismay, saying that he was “f**king gutted” and that he’d “never felt so shite” before Dundee cut him loose.
Both players hail from the city of Dundee and have apparently supported Dundee United all their lives despite playing in the Dundee FC youth ranks.
Ridiculous.
