Scottish side Ross County have had their official club site deleted, thus throwing ticket orders into chaos less than a week before their big SPL clash against Celtic.

According to BBC Highlands, the Ross County website was accidentally taken offline by the web hosting firm, 123-reg.

123-reg, who are the UK’s largest web hosting company, deleted a huge number of client websites during a mass maintenance operation.

Ross County’s manager of operations, David O’Connor, told the Beeb that 123-reg couldn’t have made their little gaffe at a more inopportune time, what with the Celtic game coming up on Sunday.

Online is a crucial part of our ticket sales, selling merchandise and the website is where fans go to to reserve seats on buses and find match information.

O’Connor assured fans that every effort is being made to restore the site while 123-reg launch their mass “recovery process”.

In the meanwhile, County fans must contact the club the old fashioned way – by phone or in person – to buy tickets, check on availability, etc, etc.

What a bleedin’ palaver.
