Hull City suffered an embarrassing 4-1 defeat away to Fulham in the FA Cup fourth round in Sunday, with Tigers’ striker Abel Hernandez managing to miss two penalties within just 28 seconds.
Premier League side Hull were already 4-1 down when, late on, Andrew Robertson was felled in the box by Fulham defender Tomas Kalas. Hernandez stepped up to take the resulting spot-kick, only to see his tame effort saved by Marcus Bettinelli.
However, from the rebound, Bettinelli then fould Hernandez, leading to yet another spot-kick for Hull. After a bit of deliberation, Uruguayan striker Hernandez once again stepped up, this time thwarted by a superb save from the Cottagers’ ‘keeper.

If ever there was an incident to sum up Hull’s horrible day, it was this debacle.
Championship side Fulham, thanks to goals from ex-Hull Attacker Sone Aluko, Chris Martin, Sessegnon and Stefan Johansen, can now look forward to the fifth round draw.
Hull, who notched a consolation goal via Evandro, can get back to their top-flight relegation battle.
