If the name Jean Michael Seri seems vaguely familiar to you, it might be that the midfielder has been intermittently linked with massive moves to some of Europe’s biggest clubs over the past couple of years.
Indeed, in August of 2017, Barcelona were on the brink of signing the highly-rated Ivory Coast international, with a €40million fee locked in with Nice and Seri’s representatives agreeing a four-year contract.
PSG then waded in with a €50million offer to upset the apple cart, which eventually led to both prospective moves falling through and Seri remaining at Nice for another season.
Less than 12 months on, and the 26-year-old has just signed for newly-promoted Fulham…

A weird one, no doubt. Fulham have splurged £35million on Seri (a club record) but this must surely be a ‘shop window’ type arrangement – as has become the fashion for suddenly-loaded lower-to-middling Premier League sides.
He’ll probably be utterly amazing for the Cottagers next year and then make them a gazzilion pounds profit when he moves to Manchester United in 18 months time.
