The agent of Fulham forward Clint Dempsey has revealed that his client is currently mulling over several offers from clubs right across Europe – and also hinted that the US international may even decide to follow his former manager Roy Hodgson to Liverpool.

Dempsey’s representative, Lyle Yorks, told the official MLS site;

“There is a lot of interest from big clubs in Europe in Clint, and now you’ve got Roy Hodgson leaving for Liverpool… so there’s a lot of different things going on.

We’ve got a major club in Italy, a major club in France, and a club in the Bundesliga. We’ll be sorting through them in the coming weeks and also seeing what happens at Fulham.

There’s direct contact and discussions, but first they’d have to agree a deal with Fulham.”

The European clubs in question are believed to be Juventus, Bordeaux and Bayer Leverkusen.

After enjoying a solid World Cup for the Yanks, Duece has seen his stock (especially back home) rise dramatically – thanks, in part, to his unstoppable 25-yard piledriver against England in the group stages…

Pick THAT out Greeny!

Anyway, Dempsey in a Liverpool kit? I could get along with that.

What say you?
