Everybody had their eyes closed? That explains a lot
Legia Warsaw beat Trabzonspor 2-0 in the Europa League last night to shore up top spot in their group, though the opening goal – which eventually went down as an own-goal by Trabzonspor ‘keeper Fatih Ozturk – seemed to take an absolute bloody age to come about.
The OG was definitely rough on Ozturk, who made two good, flailing saves in the prolonged build-up, only for Legia to hit the post with a third shot before sending a fourth successive attempt ricocheting between the defender on the line and the hapless ‘keeper’s back before the ball – are you still following? – finally made it across the line…
Finished lads? Good show.
