Aw, poor lamb.

Sadly, the GIF doesn’t go on to show Messi being pecked by Iker Casillas and reacting in exactly the same way – alas, a thousand kisses couldn’t have made L’il Leo crack a smile after Barca’s Copa del Rey defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday evening.

Hah, you may be fast Messi. But c’mon Ronaldo pulled ur dribble style ran through your defence, and headered past your no.1 spot. You suck Messi.

  2. Soccer Professional says:

Messi is a childish, spoiled kid with grown men worshiping him constantly.
He needs to grow up and lose the ego.
Pep Guradiola needs to discipline him and slap some sense into him.
Yes, hes is a good soccer player, but he need to start acting his age and stop being such a brat.

  3. A says:

@ Soccer Professional – Agreed, sometimes he tries to beat seven men when there’s others in much better positions. He thinks he’s great with his stepovers and his fake tan but he’s not the best player in the world. Messi should stop thinking he’s the best and take a lesson in humility from those around him like Dani Alves and Cristiano Ronaldo.

  4. RP says:

Give him some lego and he’ll be right.

  5. Tom Jones says:

    Haha. What a wanker!

  6. Miguel - NYC says:

yeah…he needs to grow up and behave like…the captain of the english team of course…none other than John Terry. The best role model english children can have.
Humility and C. Ronaldo in the same sentence? R u serious? The dude bought his child from a waitress.
Btw, those days when Michael Owen won the Golden Ball (once) seem so far away, don’t they?
Oh, how many goals does Messi have this year? 48 or something like that…I bet Rooney is right behind…he must be…since he is a grown man that screams fuck off in front of the camera.
I bet if you put all the top 3 english strikers you could not add up to 48…but yeah, messi must be a wanker. He proves is time after time when he scores against Arsenal (it’s been so many times)…or Man U (CL final).

  7. Miguel - NYC says:

And what a wanker he is…he gets into time magazine top 100 influential people: http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,2066367_2066369_2066498,00.html

  8. Kev says:

@Soccer Professional— The statement made by you only shows that you are a soccer ass. Unless it was sarcasm, you clearly know nothing about football. Ego!? what nonsense!! Obviously you are a clueless madridista, jealous of a kid’s talent. When has Messi ever flaunted his ego like Cristiano? WHEN!? Moron.. ANd grow up? in what way is he a child? please, keep your comments frm your empty head to yourself. And Tom Jones, If you were to lose a cup like this, wouldnt you be angry? At least he’s passionate

  9. Bigwillystyle says:

29 games, 30 goals, 17 assists in la liga this year.

    ya he sucks.

  10. Yaquelin Reyes says:

Lionel Messi Is An AMAZING SOCCER PLAYER .
&Barcelona Doesn’t deepen on Just HIM . they Play as a team , that’s why soccer is so beautiful because everyone gets to touch the ball in such an amazing way . There passing is beautiful . Messi is Just another player like Villa Pedro & Xavi Etc . Barcelona doesn’t have to deepen on Messi to win every game they play . They with him or not . In this occasion it wasnt there day to win . It was ment this way , they weren’t playing like they usually do but it was still a great game . Messi didn’t have to score for them to win it could’ve have been someone else . . But it didn’t happened that way . But that doesn’t make Barca the worst team or it doesn’t make Messi the worst either . It just means that they didn’t play well as a team & people have to stop pointing fingers just at Messi !

Anyway Barca didn’t leave the stadium empty handed , they left there with Pride . Not everythings about wining . & soccer in particular , you never know the out comes of the game you just gotta go in there and give it you’re best !
& Ronaldo “Fans” or Madird “fans” have to stop Comparing Barca to Madrid , There WAYYY DIFFERENT teams . With different ways of seeing the game .

And half of the people who talk , don’t know a damn thing about soccer , so I suggest you stop talking and stop making you’re selfsame look like fools .

Messi is wondeful and plays some what like Maradona even Maradona him self said it . His Not perfect but his getting there . & if you have respect & pride for soccer you should atleast give some respect the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD , LEO MESSI <3

  11. Eckpfosten says:

So much hate for a guy who lost an important game and is undeniable one of the best footballers alive. I can’t see arrogance in his face…

  12. me says:

u know why he is so upset ? because great players don’t accept loss ..
it’s not about his ego .. he wants to win for the team and for the fans , he don’t want to let them down :/ ..

he is still the best .. 1 game doesn’t change that fact .

  13. Montesquieu says:

“Agreed, sometimes he tries to beat seven men when there’s others in much better positions. He thinks he’s great with his stepovers and his fake tan but he’s not the best player in the world. Messi should stop thinking he’s the best and take a lesson in humility from those around him like Dani Alves and Cristiano Ronaldo.”

I hope for your sake that’s tongue in cheek, otherwise, you can declare yourself a genuine idiot.

  14. CMDG says:

The first three comments are obviousl from people who know Heehaw about football. @Me u hit the nail the head when u said great players don’t accept defeat. The guy is only 24 yet he’s already being mentioned alongside the greatest of all time. He’s one of the most humble players in the world and is very much a team player unlike ronaldo who if things don’t go his way just huffs and puffs. In the words of deigo maradona…lionel messi is having a kick about with Jesus

  15. wolfusa says:

don’t even compare ronaldo and messi, it’s not worth the effort. both are great, have won a lot (not a world cup of course), and make the game better by being a part of it. they both have style, one’s more flamboyant than the other, but they’re both entertaining and exciting to watch.

and players are allowed to sulk when they lose. good sportsmanship is for lesser men. ronaldo would have looked EXACTLY the same way, as would have any good or great player worthy of being part of a losing side in any important match. putting on a happy face is for people who like to lie to themselves and others. fuck it.

  16. Digsy says:

    Chris,
Can you add something to rate comments appear here? Something like “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” for the comments.
    Thx.

  17. charlie says:

why do you bring up rooney or ronaldo in this? at least those 2 have enough control and not kick a ball at opposing fans in anger. the kids good but a little prick when he doesnt get his way.

  18. Paul says:

lol obviously that was a joke and it was good

  19. Tinez says:

    @Miguel

great spot on the sarcasm there. you’re an idiot.

  20. chrisallen says:

i think he’s still shocked that he lost to a tan turd. Semi-finals are going to be hellish for Madrid. they will wish they hadnt wont the copa del rey. forzabarca!

  21. Miguel - NYC says:

@ Tinez – I may be an idiot, but i have a point and know what i am talking about.
Btw, saying that Messi sucks will not make any of the english players any better.
Btw, 50 Goals in one season! I am sure Rooney is right behind him.

  22. JoulseyCupid says:

@ Miguel hahaha, this is like a year late, but I am gonna say it anyway. Imagine nowadays some athletes when they win they open their mouths wide, tongue out, yelling and shrieking, thumping their chests ( as if to say I am king and Mr tough guy, all rolled into one). They jump in the air, yell at their fans, gloating and flaunting their victory to everyone. It has become fashionable-winning goals and competitions means thumping chests and sticking tongues out. As though to insist- “I am better and don’t you dare come near me. ”
Lionel Messi is in a class of his own and can be a lesson of humility for new athletes.
