After watching Teddy Sheringham’s majestic chop-block tackle on Gordon Ramsey (who left the field being given oxygen on a spinal board) during the Soccer Aid charity game last night, one moment immediately came to mind – the day that Tory fop Boris Johnson committed a grevious act upon former Germany international Maurizio Gaudino’s person during a Legend’s match back in 2006…

“Ahhh *wibble* Jerry had it coming, what what *wibble*”

Absolutely terrible, yet somehow strangely impressive.

Without doubt one of the greatest moments in football history. I suppose it’s that public school rugby training coming out.

I had the pleasure of seeing this live at the Madejski, and it is still the most bizarre footballing moment i have ever seen (apart from Stuart Atwell’s ghost goal that still has me frothing at the mouth)

How did this man, manage to win the London mayoral election twice? He’s about as awkward as Shilton meeting Maradona.
