“Something for the weekend Sir?”

Former Sunderland, Blackburn and England left-back Michael Gray is undergoing the UK’s first ever hair tranplant surgery to be broadcast live as we speak – in fact, if you happen to enjoy scalps being sliced and follicles being fondled, you can head here to watch the procedure being streamed right now (though if you do, there may be some tricky questions you need to ask yourself).

Gray is conscious, and is answering questions about his football career as the £30,000 surgery is carried out.

To call it ‘weird’ is to undersell it almost entirely.

What next? Penis extensions on-line? John Terry could get the one on his forehead extended….

Wonder if he regailed the surgeon with any of his witty anecdotes about kicking players and breaking ankles.

Sounds like that old joke TV program on “The Day Today” where a dentist interviews Richard Branson, asking him questions while working on his teeth.
