It’s our sad duty to report that Gibraltar, UEFA’s newest member country, lost 7-0 to Poland in their maiden Euro 2016 qualifier last night, though that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise when you factor in that Robert Lewandowski et al were tasked with scoring against a back five that included a shipping agent, a policeman and a warehouse storeman.

As a handy depiction at the gulf between the two nations, Sky Sports even prepared a graphic which displayed the “day jobs” of the Gibraltar starting XI before kick-off..

Got to say the patronising and arrogant coverage provided by sky was deeply insulting especially Neil Lenon who once again proved how much of a twat he is by saying we had no right to be in the euro quals (Celtic/champs league -pot/kettle). It might have ended badly (well kind of Poland aren’t a mugs team in any league) but in the first half we defending well and you only get better by playing better teams so this is the start of the learning curve. By the way nice try by Gary burgle who had clearly at least read the GiB Wikipedia page.

I don’t even know if they’re in any way related, but the Casciaro brothers apprehending criminals by day and playing football at night are now my favourite athletes.

Strangely enough the three brothers are related
