Striker Arkadiusz Milik has endured a difficult opening two games at EURO 2016, despite scoring once against Northern Ireland.
Overall, the Polish star has missed a number of very good chances against both Michael O’Neill’s and Germany, and those misses have come to the attention of none other than Hollywood heavyweight and Gladiator star Russell Crowe.
After the goalless draw with Germany, Crowe, who seems to have chosen Poland as his team to support for the duration of the tournament, Tweeted about Milik’s missed chances. However, the Ajax forward responded in fine style…

New Zealand-born Crowe then responded to Milik’s reply…
@arekmilik9 team is playing great .Keep working hard for each other. I believe in you

We’re not sure why Crowe has chosen the Poles to support but whatever the reason, his team have a very good chance of making it to the knockout stages. Currently level on points at the top of Group C with Germany, a point against Ukraine on Tuesday will guarantee their progression.
