‘He Hasn’t The Slightest Idea What He’s Talking About’ – Paul Pogba’s Agent Responds To Gary Lineker Jibe

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has hit back at Gary Lineker after the BBC presenter claimed that the French midfield star was over-rated.

The 23-year-old Pogba has, so far, failed to live up to his top-billing at Euro 2016, prompting Lineker to Tweet the following during France’s Last 16 clash with Ireland…

Not surprisingly, the player’s Mr. 10% Raiola was less-than-pleased by the comments, dismissing Lineker. Speaking to Rai Sport, the agent said:

When someone is paid to talk about something, that doesn’t mean he knows what he’s talking about. Lineker is one of those. Considering the qualities Paul has and the prices I see around Europe, I think Paul is underrated.

How much is Pogba worth? The maximum amount a club is prepared to pay for him.

Just look at a player who is on the bench of Belgium and Marseille, but is being sold for €40 million (Batshuayi to Chelsea).

When Gary Lineker talks about Pogba, he hasn’t the slightest idea what he’s talking about.

I remember he said if Claudio Ranieri won the Premier League title with Leicester City, he’d present his show in his underpants. That tells you everything.

So there!

Now Pogba may not have set Euro 2016 alight just yet. However, the former Manchester United starlet has been outstanding for Juventus over the past few seasons, with the likes of Real Madrid and the Red Devils themselves eager to sign the superstar, who is valued at around the £80million mark.

Maybe Lineker just doesn’t watch much Italian football?

I think Pogba is very good but not the genius people say he is.

  2. alex says:

if Raiola though he could make some money from saying Pogba was shit he’d do it.

also, is he having a go at Lineker for not predicting Leicester to win the premier league?
