There’s no way Peter Odemwingie was going to escape a flaying on his return to The Hawthorns following his deadline day Range Rover odyssey in north west London and, rather than lopping off a horse’s head and slipping it between his satin bedsheets, the West Brom banter squad went out and rigged up a QPR shirt with the roving Nigerian striker’s name on the back and hung it on his locker to ‘welcome’ him back at training…

Unfortunately, Odemwingie was unsurprisingly sent straight home by the club on his arrival at the training ground, so the little dig sadly didn’t hit the mark as intended.

Shame, because the little git certainly deserved it.

@Pikoriko – or they have just bought a “Cisse” shirt and had someone at the club add a name to it…

It’s not like there is a need for last minute blank QPR shirts in West Bromwich, is it?
