In conjuction with Brazilian jewellers Brilho Infinito, Pele has put his name to some rather special souvenirs which are made from – and we kid thee not – his very own hair.
The gold statuettes all feature a one carat diamond made from carbon extracted from 73-year-old Pele’s hair, with a limited edition run of 1,283 figurines being made (and therefore the same number of diamonds) to represent each of the legendary Brazilian striker’s career goals…
