After a duff season, AC Milan have rolled out their new kits for next season in a bid to cheer themselves up – launching both a new home strip and third strip which will be worn in the club’s remaining two Serie A fixtures of 2013/14.
For the first time ever, the Milan home strip will feature red and black stripes of differing widths and colour tones – which is a fairly big deal, at least when it comes to Milan kits.
The left breast of the jersey will also be adorned with a modern re-hash of the club’s original Saint George badge.
The creamy third kit is supposedly modelled on the colours of the Brazilian flag (yellow-ish and green-ish) in order to pay tribute, not only to the nation that will be hosting the World Cup in a couple of months, but to the many Brazilian players who have written their names into the fabled history of the Rossoneri over the years.
Looks more like a tribute to butterscotch Angel Delight if you ask us.
