With the ten-year anniversary of their stadium coming up, Japanese second division side JEF United Ichihara Chiba have decided to mark it in the only way Japanese football clubs mark any milestone: by releasing a spectacularly hideous special edition kit.
In honour of their twin club mascots, a pair of Akita puppies called Jeffy and Unity, the players will be forced to wear these impressively gaudy new kits while marching out into the Fukuda Denshi Arena at some point in the very near future…
And the equally tastefully appointed goalkeeper strips…
