Ever the classy urbane gent, Arsene Wenger has posed for a fashion shoot and interview with the L’Equipe Sport & Style supplement, in which he said heavy, philosophical things like “My constant battle in this job is to bring out the beauty in man.”

That man, of course, being Per Mertesacker.

Anyway, the accompanying photos are works of pure art. Allow us to talk you through a few of the Arsenal manager’s signature looks:

I must admit, I did giggle at the image captions a lot. Great stuff!

This is brilliant. Not an Arsenal/Wenger fan but these photos and captions made my day!

Not an Arsenal fan either, but I like Wenger. He’s most definitely not a PFM, and the world is all the better for it. PFM’s can’t get their head around someone that can express themselves with a certain grace. Of course that’s far too “poofter” for PFM’s.

Please, please let the PFM go to pasture. Mankind needs a reminder to itself that it *is* actually evolving. Maybe some cave paintings of Peter “Reidy” Reid & Paul “Merse” Merson?
