One of a small band of ‘super refs’, Mark Clattenburg has got himself a tattoo of the Champions League trophy after overseeing the 2016 final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Clattenburg, who also refereed the Euro 2016 final as well as the FA Cup final, got inked on his wrist in California and it’s quite a sight…

Clattenburg obviously has quite a high opinion of himself, but despite his star-status, we’re not sure if even he can adequately pull off the tattoo.

Although to be fair, the 41-year-old does look quite the Hollywood beefcake! An acting career awaits!

UPDATE: Turns out Clatts has also had the Euro 2016 logo done on his other arm to commemorate overseeing the final in Paris…

Next stop? Strictly Come Dancing. It’s written in the stars.

Looks like that Instagram account is based in Spain, not California, though an understandable error
