Back in 2013, Newcastle fan Barry Rogerson assured himself of a place in Geordie Valhalla by squaring up to a police horse amid a city-centre skirmish that broke out after a fractious Tyne-Wear derby match at St James’ Park.

Barry later apologised for thumping Bud the wonder-horse, claiming his medication was to blame and that he’d never intentionally hurt an animal as he owns some fish of his own.

Still, the middle-aged equine-botherer has subsequently become something of a folk hero around the Toon – so much so that they’re even selling proper oil paintings of his finest hour…

Not that Pies wish to condone animal cruelty in any way, shape or form – but we’d definitely be happy to hang that refined work of art over our mantelpiece.

It’s a masterpiece and we simply must have one.

Anybody who buys one is a big a tit as he is. What an absolutely cowardly thing to do, go try hitting someone who can fight back you shithouse.
