Just in time for the Champions League group stages kicking off in earnest tonight, Nike have pumped out an entire silo of new third kits for their biggest European clients.

As we’ve come to expect, all the kits are nigh-on identical, with Nike either making a subversive statement about the creeping sterile homogeneity of UEFA’s top club competition or just being plain lazy when it comes to knocking out this expensive guff.

Here’s Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen modelling Tottenham’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like Chelsea’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like Roma’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like Inter Milan’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like Atletico Madrid’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like Barcelona’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like PSG’s new third kit…

Which looks an awful lot like Galatasaray’s new third kit…

The template remains the same, only the colour of the trim changes.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Nike have stooped to such brazen uniformity, with their 2016/17 batch of strips following a similar vein, just with a day-glo theme…

How dreadfully dull.

Rather more importantly, shouldn’t H.Kane be (ludicrously) investigated for those fingers ……………………..?

TBH they are kit sponsors for that many teams now that it’s no surprise that they’ve given up trying.

Some of the designs are good – but for quality, you can’t beat adidas.
