Garry Monk has fronted up the cash for a Birmingham City supporter to have his (Monk’s) face tattooed on his (the fan’s) buttocks after the team successfully staved off relegation on the final day of the Championship season.
Brum fan Kevin Tomlinson made a solemn and holy vow to get Monk’s visage on his backside should his side somehow manage to pull of a shock victory at promotion-chasing Fulham in their last outing of the campaign.

Can we all get behind this? No pun intended #J4T21
I ( Kevin Tomlinson ) promised if Birmingham City beat Fulham I would get Gary Monk’s face tattooed on my bum and hey ho! Guess what happened. #J4T21

Sure enough, the Blues did just that – winning 3-1 at St. Andrew’s to ensure their safety and nix the Cottagers’ hopes of going up automatically.
With the crowdfunding drive for the tattoo still stuttering, Monk himself popped up and added the necessary £100 to the pot to reach the intended goal, leaving Tomlinson to start booking his appointment.

What a gentleman.
Quite honestly, we couldn’t think of a more fitting end to Birmingham’s season.
