First the banana costume, now this disaster…

Bleeurgh. This is really bad, the keeper’s kit too. The style of shorts, as worn by Italy to no great effect in South Africa, is particularly bad. Puma did a much better job with the new Tottenham home shirt.

You like it? If so, you need your eyes tested.

“Ooh, it’s a f**king disgrace, so it is!”

The neck works well on the Azzurri kit (i.e. with the green, white and red trim) but it looks like they’ve forgotten to sew something up on this one.

    Very poor.

    Ollie,

Geordie Bashing not due to commence until August 14th Man!

Hope you’re enjoying the WC, not as good as the last one for me!

Now i’m a geordie so maybe it’s the rose tinted spectacles, but i don’t see it. I admit that i am jealous of Tottenhams home strip this season which is excellent, but i dont think Newcastle’s is awful, i mean the Newcastle badge looks ironed on and i personally dont like the weird belt buckle puma thing, and surely the worst feature of all is Stevie Harper’s gurn in the final pic. But i feel it could have been a lot worse i.e Bolton’s black and white effort last season.
But Guy^ hopefully the Brazil Holland Game is going to make this World Cup, crossing my fingers for a classic game.
    Always the optimist

And I tought it was impossible to do worst than last year’s away kit!!!! What kind of neck cut is this? And the keeper’s outfit is simply horendous. Makes me wanna puke. I like the away and third kit but this is the worst home kit in years. Thanks for saving me some $$$ PUMA.

  5. Luke says:

Obviously this guy is just looking for another negative thing to write about Newcastle.

No way is it that bad and I have perfect vision, thanks.

  6. Caleb says:

It’s not THAT bad, aside from the collar.

  7. Belgrade original style says:

Haha, i thought that green version is for goalkeeper :)

  8. Temjin says:

Puma kits are very much hit or miss this year. The spurs kit is beautiful but these look silly.
Just look at the new Sporting CP kits from Puma. Away kit = lovely, Homekit = Newcastle level disaster.

  9. Stu says:

Preston have Puma, and I have to say, I’m not impressed.

  10. chris says:

i like the second strip but not keen on home shirt

  11. chris says:

if it changes our luck who cares what we play in we will be judged on how we play not what the shirt looks like

  12. Anonymous says:

i really like it, even the collar. the goalie kit is pretty rank though

  13. Fat Nakago says:

The green kit looks snappy, in a dull and tedious sort of way.

But WHY is there is a referee standing next to him?

  14. Woods says:

the strip looks good. i dunno wat your all on about.

  15. Montesquieu says:

Why does Puma make such shit kits? Their shoes for the most part and other apparel is fine, it’s just their kits are all fucking shit. The cut, the style and the material.
