Sandy Greaves of Greaves Sports (a family business by any chance?) said: “We wanted to stick with the traditional red and yellow hoops that Thistle are famous for, but introduce the brush stroke design which Puma has so successfully used for their African teams in the World Cup.
“The African nations jerseys have sold incredibly well in our stores and we hope the Jags fans will like the direction we’ve taken. Importantly, the players like it and feel comfortable in the kit.”
Er, am I missing something? Sandy Greaves makes it sound like he designed the kit himself, in alliance with Puma? Surely not.
