Celtic 2011/12 home kit: green and white hoops.

Celtic 2011/12 away kit: green and white and beige hoops.

Clever…

Much like Celtic’s garish third strip for next season, their new away kit is almost certain to be a bit of a ‘marmite’ affair – and it’s fair to say that it’s not exactly our cup of warm Irn Bru.

What say you Pies fans, like or no like?

Should you be interested in snapping one up, the new Celtic away kit goes on pre-order on August 9th.

i think it’s actually quite nice, tennent’s makes a good sponsor too, very unintrusive

  2. Gibby says:

NAAAAAAAH ! Too much GREEN & WHITE !

  3. Hasselhof says:

It must get awfully crowded in that room when all these clubs have to get changed on match day. You’d think they wouldn’t all have to share the same room with all the monies they make.

  4. MaxMad says:

Beautifully stylish. I agree with Dave, Tennent’s is a great sponsor – logowise.
Though a bit too much green maybe.

  5. zaaker says:

i like it, but too much green for an away kit

  6. KingEric7 says:

Should have made the sleeves and shorts the same as the body but with Green trim and it would be perfect for an away kit.

  7. Kermit the Frog says:

So when do they wear this kit?

  8. Montesquieu says:

It’s better than the third. Although not by much. Never understood why Celtic have hoops at the back.

  9. dave says:

it sucks but i think it will look OKAY ont he pitch

  10. Dusty says:

@ Montesquieu “Never understood why Celtic have hoops at the back”.

Because if they didn’t go around the back, they wouldn’t be hoops; they’d just be horizontal lines…

    Long live the Hoops!

I think this is a decent top, won’t be buying it, the current home top is excellent. This one looks slightly like a pyjama top, but decent enough.

I’d willing give Celtic £40…..the whole £40 and not a percentage…every two years just to leave the actual club jersey alone and to start wearing the real Celtic jersey every week.
What a con all these strips are and some of them, like this new piece of tosh, are utterly dire in design and lifespan!
Again the fans are being used by those at the helm of club to rake in cash to pay for players who are only of slightly better quality than those in the rest of the SPL.
Time for a re-think on club kit and for the voice of the fans to be taken into account, although there is not much hope of that via a website that gives no platform to fans’ opinions or comments, so allowing for no criticism of any kind.
