Granted, this one’s for borderline-hardcore football boot aficionados, but to those who may be interested, those dirty flirts over at Adidas have titillated our imagination – emerging from the undergrowth, tugging on our sleeve and whispering in our ear that the gaudy boots that Lionel Messi wore against Nigeria on Monday were in fact ‘intelligent’ and that they contained a ‘super-secret micro chip’ before disappearing again into the night…

We can’t tell you any more at this stage due to embargo reasons (all in good time), but our money’s on the chip being some kind of Jedi force field  – as it would go someway to explaining this kind of thing…

Have these been made at Alan Hansen’s request for Theo Walcot?

  2. Jamie says:

(shhhhhhh! i think that kind of thing can be explained by shocking defending)

  3. Madjair says:

Good thing they’re intelligent, cause they sure as hell are ugly.

Yeah Maradona & Pele had those too lol

Those boots are searing my retinas.

I don’t know why, but I found the Indian commentary of a football match to be quite amusing

This is why Messi will always be better than C-Ron (no, not the boots!). See how he actually tracks back to dispossess Mikel. I’ve never seen C-Ron track back to defend or help out to win the ball back. He just stands and pouts and whines.

  8. Montesquieu says:

C-Ron is a git, and did I mention he has no chin?

AS for the boots, they’re only boots. Messi is a footballing genius because of skill not some crappy piece of plastic made by some child in Vietnam.
