One of the few kits where you actually want a bigger sponsor’s logo…

Well, we had to get around to this infamously shit kit sooner or later. Just because a club’s nickname is The Tigers, doesn’t mean you have to design quite such a literal-minded kit.

Hull’s home kit immediately afterwards was also shockingly grim and worthy of a place in the Shit Kits Hall of Infamy:

I like the way the shorts don’t appear to match the shirt in any way. And yes, that is a young Dean Windass. Well spotted.

  1. Peter says:

They also took the word SHORTS literally as well.

  2. Chris B. says:

I kind of like the one on top, it is what it is – a simple orange and black tiger-striped shirt that says “Bonus” in large letters. It’s properly kitsch. Perfect for the ironic-hipster set.

The one below is a true abomination, and they was Windass wears it makes him look like a man’s head stuck on a schoolboy’s body.

  3. Not sure what’s worse..the kit or a pic of windyass himself?
    sickbag anyone?

  4. Michael Chin says:

Well i think the kit (second pic with dean) not that bad

  5. Tom Jones says:

Not the best kit in history.
Still better than most of what you have in the “my favourite kit” section.

  6. QueerAsFuß says:

    SXUGWHEIFCQTYIUQ3TGKUHEGK my head just exploded.
How did I miss this? Did my brain block it out to save myself the trauma?
The only way this could be worse is if the shorts had the stripey/swirly pattern on them and the trikot was the Bilbao crime scene photo pattern.

But…god….those shorts….those shorts! No. NO. Just no no no no no.

This is the kind of thing that happens when just straight men design clothes.

  7. Baggees says:

That second pic really does turn the stomach…its like an awful wolves acid trip with ladies legs…the shorts are horrific like some nasty bed spread…I can’t believe those poor bastards had to go out on the pitch dressed like that..shame

  8. Baggees says:

Ollie what about Norwich city home kit 1992-1994 like something nasty delis might make with eggs and spinach…. Grisly

  9. Baggees says:
