Having scoured the globe for the best club badges on offer in Asia, South America, Australia and The States, we reckon it’s about time to come back home and have a root around. As such, here’s 22 of our favourite football logos from all around the other home nations and Eire.

Saddle up. Tally ho…

1. Ballinamallard United, Northern Ireland

Duck and cover…

2. Kilkenny City, Republic of Ireland

See if you can guess what their nickname is…

3. Annagh United, Northern Ireland

Nothing strikes fear into the heart of opponents like a bit of dry stone walling…

4. The New Saints, Wales

Formerly known as Total Network Solutions FC, the club now go by the altogether more catchy “The New Saints of Oswestry Town & Llansantffraid Football Club”…

5. Berwick Rangers, Scotland(ish)

Is that a wombat? Only it looks an awful lot like a wombat…

6. Cardiff Grange Harlequins, Wales

Camp as Christmas…

7. Letterkenny Rovers, Republic of Ireland

Letterkenny: Come for the fish, stay for the churches and small bridge…

8. Alloa Athletic, Scotland

These greedy boggers are known as both The Wasps and The Hornets…

9. Ballyclare Comrades, Northern Ireland

Looks like it had to be drawn up before the last red pen ran out…

10. Wexford Youths, Republic of Ireland

“Beautiful” is not the first word that comes to mind…

11. Falkirk FC, Scotland

Yep, that’s just cool…

12. Inter Cardiff (old logo), Wales

Cardiff’s Uni side must’ve been sponsored by the local travel agent…

13. Mallow United, Republic of Ireland

Soft as shite, these Mallow boys…

14. Peterhead FC, Scotland

We are now entering what we like to call “The Fishy Section”…

15. Nairn County, Scotland

What is it with football clubs and sodding dolphins?

16. Bridgend Town, Wales

Crap with a capital “CRAP”…

17. Institute FC, Northern Ireland

Burning bush? You can get cream for that…

18. Broughty Athletic, Scotland

Looks like the sign for a National Heritage gift shop…

19. Airbus, Wales

These jokers ain’t got nothin’ on XI Men In Flight FC

20. Taff’s Well, Wales

Bit racist, but we’re glad to hear he’s doing okay anyway…

21. Glantraeth FC, Wales

As club mottos go, that’s a cracker…

22. Civil Service Strollers, Scotland

OH NOES. Here come the Strollers…

    “Ireland and Northern Ireland”

Just Ireland would have sufficed thanks. We know that the northern counties of Ireland are in Ireland, just like we know the northern counties in Wales are in Wales…

    @Dusty

Please don’t start that debate here. It was obviusly done to distinguish that there are clubs from Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland included in the article.

P.s cracking logos. Are dolphins the most overused animal symbol in badges do you think?

  3. Brian says:

    @ Dusty

  4. Burlington Bertie says:
