Five goals by Dimi Berba against Blackburn helped put Man Utd on top of the table, after Chelsea failed to beat Newcastle at St James’ Park on Sunday. Nice of Big Sam’s teams to roll over and play dead for his old mate Fergie, eh. Nothing like a free six points every season.

The ten best pics from the weekend’s action:

Funny how how no one was saying things like that when teams were getting absolutely spanked by Chelsea earlier in the season. Must be because Chelsea are such a colossal behemoth of footballing talent that will romp to the title undefeated, right?

  2. Tanya says:

I’m a huge Berba fan so I was obviously happy when he scored 5 :)

Truly I’m a Chelsea supporter so I await the return of Terry and Lampard. I was highly disappointed when Kalou missed THE EMPTY GOAL.

Six free points every season? Blackburn drew with United last season (April this year) – a game which was pretty much instrumental in United not taking top spot and the league. So it always seems a bit odd when people accuse Blackburn of gifting United points. If they don’t do it when it really matters, they sure as hell won’t be doing it when it doesn’t.
