    Btw, I think the “denim” hotpants are really just a polyester print meant to look like jeans. It doesn’t change how it looks, but at least it doesn’t look as uncomfortable.
    You’re right about the lack of discernable talent on the US side, but I disagree with you about Bradley not being a big part of the problem. You can’t change the fact our players didn’t grow up with footballs at their feet and playing on the TV (which I think is really important to raising “world class” players), but you can’t begin to create an american soccer culture until you take the game seriously enough to appoint someone who is better than your standard (US) high school soccer coach. It’s pretty imperative we bring in some foreign talent to establish that. Yet when the Klinsmann deal didn’t work out, the USSF pretty quickly decided Bradley was just fine. Wrong!
    As bad as 2006 was, watching the US men since has been pretty painful.
