Cheeky mention to Hatem Ben Arfa vs Everton

    Bullet.

Hard to split them top 5

  2. Ginge says:

Where is Jermaine Beckford’s final day masterpiece against Chelsea?

  3. Greg says:

Berbatov against Blackburn. Total football at it’s finest.

  4. syndex says:

what about beckford this weekend running for the edge of his box beating lampard, outpaceing cole, cutting through terry and alex to chip cech. Oh an yes as painful as it was to watch either Arfa or tiote’s goal against us early in the season were magical.

  5. syndex says:

sorry ginge writing at the same time as you

  6. dave says:

not sure i would rank elmander’s top

  7. Calski says:

I’d like to see Ben Arfas goal up in there. Can’t wait to see more of him next season.

  8. Sex God says:

    @Pies

WHY WOULD YOU PUT THAT VIDEO FOR NO. 10?!

    DID YOU EVEN WATCH IT?!

    some people

    -_-

definitely not a Sex God who put that video in there

  9. The Yank says:

Terrible list. The only goal that deserves to be there is the Rooney volley which you unjustly label a shinner anyway. At the very least Berbatov’s volley v Liverpool should be there. But alas, typical anti-United bias. Surprise, surprise Tottenham is the only team on there twice…

  10. Tinez says:

    @The Yanks

I think you’ve mistaken the word ‘unjustly’ for the words ‘absolutely correctly’.

  11. The Yank says:

For the first and only installment of “Amazing goals that people look over simply because of their ridiculous hatred of United”, here is a Lil Pea from Mexico performing the backward header of Champions…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ipOONnhUWI

Easily better than 8 of the goals above. Why wasn’t it on the list? No love for United. Its the way the world turns I guess. Haters keep hating and United keeps winning.

  12. dc says:

is there a reason the VDV video doesn’t show the actual goal!?

  13. Connor says:

@The Yank: we don’t all hate United, you just have them on a pedestal.

Surprised not to see beckford vs chelsea, tevez vs wolves or silva vs blackpool… but i’m not going to claim it’s because of the shocking anti-city bias that runs the world.

easily better than 8 on the list? you sad sad troll…

  14. Jeff says:

Parker’s vs Chelsea is better than a few of those.

  15. The Yank says:

    @Connor

That pedestal you are referring to is the Premiership Champions box. As for Chicharito’s goal, even you must admit the header was a brilliant one, totally deserving of a top 10 spot.

Oh, and if I were a troll, you would be the sad one for taking the bait.

  16. Connor says:

so because united won the league they are entitled to the best goals? how does that work. it was a good goal, great technique… but definitely not in the top two, and i’ll be honest, i haven’t seen a single person other than you contending it should be in the top ten. given how many united fans there are i don’t think you can put that down to your bias.

  17. Riley says:

Agree that Beckford’s needs to be on here. Kuyt’s first against United also deserves a mention. Suarez’s run was absolutely mesmerizing. Left 4 united defenders in his wake.

  18. minimal says:

incredible. everybody who don’t hate united say its rooneys goal best in miles away from nearest contenders, but then hatred mess up your mind its difficult to think objectively

  19. Joe says:

Yeah, I’m with Riley. Would have been goal of the season of Suarez scored himself. Nothing against Elmander, but leaving Man U defenders for statues is a bit harder than doing the same with Jody Craddock and Karl Henry.

  20. AtyanshYNWA says:

I know my opinions might be biased here but I’m surprised that Arsenal’s 24 pass move goal was there yet no mention of the 32 pass move goal scored by LFC vs Wolves. Also, think Suarez run vs United deserves a mention.

Also very disappointed with the no. 1 choice. That only looks great in the video but not that difficult to perform especially with as horrible defending as it was there.

  21. Nick Wiper says:

Hmm pretty much agree left out some belters, Ben Arfa, Beckford, Torres after the 32 pass as someone mentioned above and the Silva vs Blackpool and maybe Dempseys belter vs Bolton. But spoilt for choice I guess, Elmander’s goal was pretty great. If Tiote’s is in i’m guessing the drama/importance of the goal is counted so maybe Stuart Holden vs Blackburn or Maxi to get his hatrick against fulham? Good list overall

  22. marajonna says:

If elmander had done that in a united shirt he’d probably have won the motd goal of the season competition as well. Stop whinging about haters and enjoy yourselves, you’re in a champions league final after winning the league. Rise above you dweeb, either that or go to a game.

  23. Del says:

My goal of the season has to be Tiote vs Arsenal.

    4-4

THE COMEBACK TO END ALL COMEBACKS!!!

  24. Dosotros says:

Decent list. Ramires vs Man City could have been included.

  25. Keith says:

Marc Albrighton v. Fulham anyone? Brilliant cross-field pass from Bannan, sublime touch and control to bring it down, and wonderful finish:

  26. jamie says:

    RE: The Yank

Surely no one is surprised by this idiot’s comments anymore?

  27. Gav says:

    Bily at wolves. bang

  28. V says:

    I love the Premier League.

  29. solihullunited says:

@ the yank youre contradicting yourself. the world ” anti man u bias” cant exist since theyre the biggest team in the world and everyone has heard of them. not getting into controversy, but even refs has a good bias against man u to the point theyve gotten pks & other calls that shouldnt have happened, simply cause theyre man u

  30. Uther Pendragon says:

The Yank is an utter cock – with a shit blog. Following United since ’06 – plank.

  31. Baz says:

    Tiote
    Brilliant goal
    Brilliant game
    Amazing comeback

  32. Pete says:

Varney, Nasri, Berbatov and Ben Arfa’s are better than some of these.
Impressed that a Sunderland defender could score that sort of goal against Chelsea even though they didn’t have Terry, Alex or Essien

  33. the stig says:

what about John Pantsil own goal in the Fulham vs. Liverpool game. Sublime skill

  34. Nome says:

it should be Cheik Tiote’s goal on number one spot
